GreenGas was built on a foundation of reliable CNG trucking services and a deep understanding of industrial energy needs. Following the acquisition of NeoGas USA in 2017, we expanded our focus beyond CNG to address broader energy and sustainability challenges. With decades of experience in industrial operations, energy management, and decarbonization, our team quickly grew the business into a leader in the RNG industry.
Our RNG projects were born from the agricultural sector’s need to manage difficult wastewater issues, including odor and organic load, amid growing sustainability pressures. GreenGas developed a process for methane capture from industrial wastewater in the food and protein industries, using a feedstock that uniquely serves the RNG market without competing with transportation-related regulatory programs.
We pioneered voluntary RNG purchases for non-regulated carbon buyers with solutions of biomethane and C02 reductions, while continuing to help companies meet net-zero and Scope 1 goals – all without relying on any government incentives or funding. Backed by IFM’s Net Zero Infrastructure Fund in 2023, we remain committed to scaling impactful, incentive-free solutions using a wide variety of feedstocks including food waste, manure, landfill gas, and wastewater.
